Please turn on the lights! No, not those! The northern lights!
The northern lights, also known as the Auroras are beautiful streams of light that roam the night sky in northern or southern regions of the earth. This effect is thought to be caused by charged particles so the chance of visibility increases with proximity to the North Magnetic Pole.
Instead of choosing one Background, we chose a lot. Each of use made our own backgrounds and right now they are circulating through the site. I made this cool little piece of crumpled paper with doodles on it. Press F5 a few times and you can the rest.
Seeing how bright and flashy megan’s background is (which is totally amazing); I thought it took too much away from the website. I wanted something that wouldn’t stand out too much but still have a pattern in order for the page not too look so dull. Seeing our website with a sold navy blue made it look ok but certainly not unique. Wanting to use the color I searched for images that would correspond with the navy blue and I stumbled upon this pattern; having fun meshing the two together i created this current background hopefully it worked out but if not it was fun creating it.
As you may have noticed, smashcast has been doing a bit of renovating. Not only have we moved to this new amazing website, but we’ve alo been trying to edit this website to reflect the smashcasters a bit more. At todays meeting, I was fooling around in photoshop a bit, trying to find the perfect backgroung for the new site.
