New Apple Line-Up
On September 1st, 2010, Apple released the new iPod models, including the iPod nano and the iPod touch. With the Touch, everyone pretty much expected the new features, and now this iPod is literally just like the iPhone 4, minus the abbility to make phone calls…The nano was a little bit of a shock because now it’s a mini iPod touch. So now my iPhone 3GS is completely outdated in every single way. Thanks Apple.

Good video i totally agree with the same product being revamped and made completely different. Its kinda ridiculous how they continue to sell so much. But hey, what can we do.

I liked this video because of the beginning =how you had the iphone and that ipod talking. I agree with the whole business about apple and their products, i think that some of them are not very useful.

I am not a technology fanatic and had no feeling in terms of “well now i am never going to buy apple products or something”. I was confused as to what your actual argument was and what you intended us to feel.

I agree with you, Ben. I think Apple should make up their minds about the direction they want to go with their products. Since the products are so popular, nobody stops to think that we’re buying the same product with one extra feature.
PLUS, you’re awesome for this being your first video! I’m proud!

I feel where you are coming from, Ben, about the new products, but I think that it’s just part of making money. Think about it like this, if there were’t new products, no matter how pointless they are, they would not have business. I do agree with you that their products are so alike that only the price and maybe one or two things are different between the ITouch and IPhone.
I also think your point about the ipod nano is true. It originally was the simplest of the ipods, without a screen and the options of choosing a song or watching a video. They have now made it more complicated with a touch screen but just kept the name, even though it doesn’t really fit in the nano category since it isn’t like the original nano ipods. I find that there is a basic message to this that we’ve all heard before, that business and greed can get people to loose the meaning of what they really wanted to accomplish at the beginning.

I think now that Steve Jobs isn’t in the CEO position, they’re going to make the products less and less and more pointless than ever.
