Hey guys,
I have been quiet for awhile, but I can assure you it was for good reason. The past month or two, I have been learning a program called 3D Studio Max. Things got complicated fast, but after some trial and error and a little more trial and error, I was able to make something presentable.
The television reality show America’s Best Dance Crew is a competitive series that is climbing the charts in popularity for best dance show. This show has great crews from all over the United States, and most recently Puerto Rico and Canada also. It captures the art of dance, music mixing, and costume design. The winner is all up to the citizens of the United States to vote for their favorite dancers and help them become America’s Best Dance Crew. The show has been running for four seasons and now going on the fifth season. This show has been known to be accurate when it comes to a winner being announced. However, for the first time, an error in the voting calculations has caused an uproar in America.
With all my other assignments done. I had pretty much nothing to do. Well I couldn’t just do nothing so Simon and I decided to mess with 3-D because, why not?
The new era of blogging has moved in and unpacked its bags. What is this blog era you might ask, well a couple months ago we had the chance to interview two bloggers from the Huffington Post, the top blog in the net, and they gave us a little debriefing. Watch the video to see our report!
Hey Viewers! This is Juan, Selina, and Jose and we have just made a movie for Tech 4 America. Tech 4 America is a program offered to college graduates with skills in media programs (i.e. Photoshop, Audacity, Flash, Final Cut Express, etc.) interested in reaching out to inner city youth and teaching them these skills in programs. In the last week, I made a flash presentation for the “Happy People” podcast. I decided to make this flash presentation for this particular podcast because the topic interested me, and because I wanted to see how I could visually represent a podcast; as opposed to simply having the audio.
Creating this flash presentation was a bit difficult to begin with, but as it went on I was able to smooth out the wrinkles. It took a long time to finish this flash presentation because I had to make sure everything was in sync with the audio podcast: I had to play the podcast to know what to incorporate in the flash presentation, and then listen again and edit the presentation to fit the section it was referring to.
