The Desmos Virtual Whiteboard is a program in which the user is able to create visual images using mathematical sentences. The user creates mathematical sentences and maneuvers them to create the desired image. This is a valuable tool because it is a fun activity that allows students, as well as non-students, to see the relationship between an equation and the graph. It demonstrates how modifying an equation will affect a graph. Many diverse groups of people may benefit from Desmos Virtual Whiteboard. Those who excel in the mathematical field may find it fun to test their knowledge. Those who need extra help in the mathematical field may use it to gain extra help. This is an incredibly exciting program that benefits all types of minds.

Ashley Cisnero is a dedicated friend, as well as an inspiring role model. When she saw that her friend was in need of financial support, Ashley became the leader of a national organization that would raise more than $20,000 towards her friend’s cancer treatment. This interested me because it shows not only that she is a powerful leader and organizer, but that she is also a noteworthy friend. Ashley was crowned Outstanding Young Leader of 2011 by¬†La Prensa Newspaper, which is inspiring to the young audiences because it shows that young people, like Ashley, could become magnificent leaders; they could achieve success.

In today’s society, a significant issue is that the environment is not being treated with the respect that it deserves! To be more specific, the environment is seen as being a giant garbage can to all to many because they liter. Littering is a serious issue because it is hazardous to our immediate health, as well as the the mental stages of our future children. My solution is to provide an organization that is composed of volunteers, as well as employees, who will make it their impetus to clean up local parks and public areas.

A significant problem in our society is the way that too many of us treat the earth. Because it is our home, it deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, meaning that we should try to help it grow and flourish. However, what is reality, we are littering, wasting, and filling the earth with our trash. A solution is to make this issue known globally in hopes that people will realize that it has a drastic affect on life, so that they would change their ways.
