Hola a todos en Aguas Calientes y especialmente a Alejandra. No podemos escribir todo en Espanol pero el podcast esta en espanol para ustedes. We are really excited to be talking to all of you as well and our podcast includes a great an interesting event to all of us that is taking place here in San Francisco and across the country – the protests and rallies on proposed immigration bills. I hope you enjoy our podcast, it took us a long time to make because of some unplanned stuttering. In this new podcast I, Orion Macario, am interviewing Jann Ramirez a student at ISA high school. He is talking about school closures which is a very important issue for parents and their children’s education. He talks about how he felt when he heard his school was going to be closed. I feel that it was very interesting hearing about this important issue. After hearing this I felt that maybe my own high school could have been closed down too. The closure would have affected me in a way that is hard to say. I wouldn’t be able to see most of my friends.
